Nick Hornby is reading tonite at 7pm at the Rose Theatre at the University of Memphis. It’s free. Wow. I’m suddenly embarassed that my copy of High Fidelity has John Cusack on the cover with big letters reading “Now a Major Motion Picture!” Whatever, I’m still getting it signed. Or, maybe I’ll bring in a copy of The Divinci Code and get him to sign that instead. I bet he’d find it funny.
Also, he’ll be reading Saturday in Oxford at Proud Larry’s at 9pm with Marah from Philly. Not sure if he’s going to read while they play or seperately. That one’s $10. Marah is playing at the HiTone Friday assuming they fix their van, so if you want to just go to UofM tonite, and then fall immediately asleep until Friday night, you could have a similar experience as going to Oxford without the drive. Look at me, always thinking!
If you’re confused, or just want to read more, here’s where I got the details. And thankyou to sBurt for the tip on this one.

Nick Hornby thinks that I rock…ok actually thats just what i told him to write in my book, same difference! Sorry you did not make it Mr. Hornby was adorable, reading with his English accent and there was cake.
I’m not happy about having missed it. Last night between 5:30 and 7:30 just kinda sucked. Glad you enjoyed it though. Which book did he sign?
