Primary Concern

Vote Aqui

For most of us, it’s Presidential Primary day. Have you voted yet? Are you going to? Are you registered?

I’ve never voted in a primary before. In the previous two presidential elections, I was under the impression that you had to register as either a Repulican or Democrat and vote accordingly in a primary. While this is true in some states, Tennessee is not one of them. If you’re registered to vote, you can vote in either primary. I wish I’d done better research in the past.

So anyway, get out there and do it. Let me know how your experience is. A while back there was great conversation of free coffee, cookies, and Ann Coulter books.

Voting is recommended if you like Freedom, Democracy, and John Rambo.

once again this year, union methodist was providing free coffee and baked goods. i noticed that i was the only person on the page (roughly 10 names per page) who had voted so far. either there’s very little turnout today, or all the irish in my neighborhood were still sleeping off a hangover at 12:30pm.

also, i started thinking about the crazy weather we’re having today. it’s almost 80 degrees out there, they’ve shut down the schools, and apparently we’re going to have a bitchin’ thunderstorm this afternoon. Do you think that God is angry that some of us are choosing between a woman and a black man to run for president?

Bellvue Baptist has cancelled all evening activities… if you find that useful.

Damn. The Botanical Gardens doesn’t offer free refreshments (unless i didn’t look hard enough). There were a few signatures on my page at about 3:30. As i was leaving one of the poll workers shouted “See you in November!” To which i replied “Hell Yes!”
