Videos like this might be the reason why the internet was invented.

This is an outtake from Richard Nixon’s resignation speech. I find it incredibly surreal to see this after having seen the actual speech as many times as I have.

I never really thought of it this way, but he seems so jovial and possibly relieved to be quiting his job. I’ve definitely looked forward to my own resignation days before, so I guess maybe it makes some sense.
